These terms explain the agreement between you and Trinova Holdings when you use First Light.

About First Light
First Light is a prayer and focus application operated by Trinova Holdings (Pty) Ltd. It helps you schedule prayer moments and, with your permission, use Apple's Screen Time controls to pause selected apps and websites.
Using the app
You may use First Light for your personal, lawful, non-commercial use. You are responsible for your device, your settings, and the selections you make. You may not reverse engineer the app except where applicable law permits it, interfere with its operation, bypass purchase controls, or use it to violate another person's rights.
Screen Time permissions
App blocking depends on compatible Apple devices, current operating-system behaviour, Family Controls authorisation, and the permissions and selections you maintain. You can revoke access in iOS Settings. First Light is a focus aid, and we cannot guarantee that every app or website will always be blocked in every circumstance.
Prayer and wellbeing content
First Light provides general faith-based prompts and reflection tools. It does not provide medical, mental-health, legal, financial, or other professional advice, and it is not a substitute for professional care or personal pastoral guidance.
Subscriptions, trials, and billing
If you purchase a subscription, the price, billing period, and any trial will be shown before you confirm the purchase. Payment is charged through your Apple account. Subscriptions renew automatically unless you cancel them through your Apple account settings. Deleting First Light does not cancel a subscription. Apple handles payment methods and refund requests, subject to applicable law. You can restore eligible purchases from within the app.
Apple's terms
Your use of the iOS app is also subject to Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement. If these terms conflict with mandatory Apple terms, the mandatory Apple terms apply.
Ownership
First Light, its branding, software, and original content belong to Trinova Holdings or its licensors. These terms give you a limited right to use the app; they do not transfer ownership of the app or its intellectual property.
Availability and changes
We may improve, change, suspend, or discontinue parts of First Light. We aim to provide a reliable experience but do not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may update these terms when the app, law, or our services change and will publish the updated date here.
Responsibility
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Trinova is not responsible for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of, or inability to use, First Light. Nothing in these terms excludes liability or consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
Governing law and contact
These terms are governed by the laws of South Africa, without taking away mandatory consumer protections that apply where you live. Questions can be sent to info@trinovaholdings.com.
